![]() It’s just too unrealistic when there are so many other things that also require suspending disbelief. I do wish that the romance between Nat and John was not so fast and easy. Otherwise, the reading is pretty good, so perhaps it makes this fault is even more glaring. As the first one that I’ve listened to as an audiobook, I found that the narrator was extremely distracting in the way that she pauses before and therefore emphasizes every “I said,” “she said,” and “he said.” I’ve read many, many audiobooks and have never experienced this before. The plots hold my attention and it’s fun to imagine living in a place like Cranberry Island. ![]() ![]() I continue to really like the setting, the Inn and the characters in general. This is the 3rd book in the series (and I’m reading them in order). ![]()
